The Marcus Band provides students a place to belong and experience like no other here at Marcus High School.  Our students work as a member of the ensemble to create musical and visual performances that entertain audiences far and wide.  Marcus Band members perform for between 35,000-50,000 live audience members annually and countless more online.

Through the medium of music, we partner with our families to teach discipline, honor, intensity, integrity, hard work, dedication, communication, teamwork, social skills, and problem-solving to help prepare our students for whatever the future may hold.  While 100% of our seniors graduate annually from Marcus High School, less than 10% indicate a major field of study in music.  Most of our students pursue studies in a myriad of fields including engineering, pre-med, political science, business, education, and much more.

Marcus Band members represent less than 10% of the Marcus graduating class; however, they regularly represent between 35-40% of the National Merit Semi-Finalists at Marcus HS and consistently rank in the top 20 members of their graduating class.
